NYS Senators Push For "The Protect Our Children Act"

Protect Our Children Act

In society there is always a reaction to something that could have proactively resolved an issue. Why do cities only deem an intersection dangerous after someone is injured or killed? Why did it take two high profile murders of children for people to start making laws that hold parents and caretakers responsible for their actions or in the case of Caylee inaction in order for someone to listen? It appears that it takes blood and death for our society to do what should have been done in the first place. Do you think that if these laws were in place that maybe the two children that were recently murdered may still be here? Proactive versus being Reactive can save lives; if only our society would see the value in that statement..sigh.
